Abel has been living in The Netherlands since 1997 and is since 2004 the official guitar player of LABERINTO.

Born in Caracas – Venezuela in 1971, Abel met the electric guitar at the age of 15 when he was asked by his metal friends from the neighborhood to join them in their teenage dream founding the band STRATUZ, which quickly installed themselves as the first Trash/Black Metal band from Caracas and one of the most important underground Metal bands from Venezuela.
In 1990 Abel joined CRONOS, a powerful Metal band that was the first of his kind to record an independent EP in Venezuela and shared the stage many times with artists like LABERINTO.
In 1993 he got the lead guitar role in Rock band RADIO CLIP, which was already established at the top of Venezuelan Pop culture and gave him the chance to tour and perform to huge crowds nationwide.
